Wajdi Riahi, pianiste tunisien né en 1995, est un joyau de la fusion musicale. Bercé par la musique arabe traditionnelle grâce à son père multi-instrumentiste, sa passion le conduit tout droit vers le jazz, qu'il découvre et étudie à Bruxelles. Son trio formé en 2020 propose une symbiose entre ses racines arabes et son amour pour le jazz, une fusion vibrante reflétant l'atmosphère effervescente de Bruxelles. Un talent qui transgresse les frontières, uni par l'amitié et la musique. [MAJ le 19/11/24]

Professional Activities

As is customary each year, we will proudly represent and support the Belgian jazz scene at Jazzahead! in Bremen at our very own Belgium Booms stand. Over 50 Belgian delegates, consisting of venues, festivals, organizations, media, labels, artists, and agencies will be present.

Jazzahead

The jazzahead! Festival, which has been taking place before and during the international jazz meeting since 2011, presents the art and culture scene of an annually changing partner country as well as bands from all over the world in the Hanseatic city in cooperation with around 60 regional, national and international cooperation partners. At the trade fair weekend itself, the program will culminate in 30 venues with 40 showcase concerts, Gala Concert & Clubnight.
