ESNS 2024
Each January, ESNS introduces 350 emerging European artists to more than 40,000 music fans and more than 4,000 music industry professionals, including 400 international festivals. During the day, the conference hosts more than 150 panel discussions, interviews, keynotes and much more on pressing issues and the need for social change in the music industry. In the evening, European acts will perform at 40 different venues in the heart of Groningen from Wednesday through Friday. And on Saturday, emerging Dutch artists take center stage during Noorderslag at De Oosterpoort.
Besides providing a stage for new music, ESNS supports artists by organizing the talent development program ESNS Exchange, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. To celebrate the diversity and ambition of European and Dutch music, the festival also awards several prestigious prizes, including the Music Moves Europe Award, European Festival Award and the Popprijs.
Like every year, Belgium Booms organizes a number of networking events, with the support of Sabam For Culture and Playright+
Those who want to catch up besides these shows will have the opportunity to do so at De Drie Gezusters (address: Grote Markt 37, Groningen). The Social Hub will become a permanent concert venue of ESNS this year so we are moving to a new centrally located venue. Those looking for Team Belgium Booms or want to co-work can go there any day.
On Thursday, Jan. 18th, there will be our famous Belgium Booms drink. Come enjoy Belgian beer, finger food, fun people and interesting conversations. Everyone welcome!
On Friday, January 19th, we organize a Belgium Booms dinner, this time only for Belgian delegates. The golden recipe remains the same: everyone pays for their own drinks and food, we treat you to the appetizer! Register here.
Finally, De Drie Gezusters has a meeting room for Belgian delegates from Wednesday to Friday between 11:30 and 17:00. Book your time slot here!
