Anima 2025 : Open call for music composers & producers
As part of the upcoming edition of the Anima Festival, which will take place from February 28 to March 9, 2025,WBM si teaming up with Amplo, the Conseil de la Musique, Sabam, and VI.BE to organize a professional meeting focused on music and animation film.
This speed dating event will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the Théâtre Marni (Rue de Vergnies 25, 1050 Ixelles). It will bring together animation filmmakers and music composers/producers for 20-minute meetings (conducted mainly in English). Afterwards participants are invited for a networking drink to encourage further discussion in a more informal setting.
This applications call is now open for Music composers/producers until February 28th (via the Crewbooking platform)
Applicants wishing to participate in this event must meet the following criteria:
- recognized as a professional in the music sector (= pro or semi pro)
- either a composer or a producer
- active in the music field for visuals or considering entering this area of work
- available on March 5, 2025
Sabam will award a grant of €2,500 per person to two composers/producers Sabam members (or those in the process of becoming members) whose animated film music composition projects are born out of this speed dating event.
